Showroom History: On Thursday, July 26, 2007, Pure Design celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of our "Brick and Mortar" store. With help from the (Corning, NY) Market Street Restoration Association in obtaining a New York Main Street grant, Pure Design now enjoys a space with a refinished historic pressed tin ceiling, modern hardwood flooring and lighting, and a completely reconstructed first floor façade.




Although puredesignonline.com has been around for many years, the first brick and mortar location in Corning only opened on September 1st, 2006. Why Corning? Because this little western New York town is not just a hop-skip-and-jump away from the Finger Lakes wine country, it is also repeatedly voted one of the Top-10 Small Cities for the Arts in the US. With a long history in glass-making and a flourishing downtown area known as the Gaffer District, Corning is also one of the most visited cities in New York State.
