We have known and respected Roberto's work for many years. In addition to the Offi Kids re-introduction of some of his best Casa Kids pieces, Offi has introduced the new Offi "Bebe" nursery collection including two Crib versions, a Changing table and a Storage cabinet designed by Roberto Gil.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and educated at Harvard University, Roberto Gil trained as an architect before delving into furniture design.

In 1992 he joined Casa Kids Collection Design, Inc., a Brooklyn based design/build furniture company. In the year 2000, and in partnership with Big Moon Furniture, a Brazilian manufacturer, Roberto Gil created Casa Kids, a collection of contemporary children's furniture.

Inspired by vernacular farm furniture, Gerit Rietveld, Donald Judd and the character of children's cartoons, Roberto Gil's designs are very simple constructions avoiding superfluous decorative elements.
